Wild Blueberries

Blueberry jam is traditionally served with pancakes or used as a breakfast condiment and as a pie ingredient. In northern Scandinavia it is also used in a special blueberry porridge. The blueberry plant grows in tight clusters all over Sweden. They cover an estimated 17% of Sweden’s surface area. Blueberries are, just like lingoberries, known as “superberries” and they are rich in antioxidants.
